Mayday Mayday....This step is very important!
You can ruin all the hours spent braiding your clients hair and ruin customer experience, if you don't take this vital step. This ensures that chemicals used to make plastic into braiding hair is removed. Remember the hair lays on your scalp and face, so if you are a sensitive person, its highly important this step isnt left out!
I wash my clients braiding hair in a 3 step process using, white vinegar, tea tree oil and natural mild disinfectant soap. Everything is washed out with water and the braids are hung to dry outside in the sun. I have found this as the best solution in preventing itching or any allergic reactions.
If a client so happens to have a bit itching, there are a few options that I have up my sleeves that solves the problem immediately. I will detail how to keep the are clean, what to put on the surface area topically and also what not to do.
Your braiding experience is very important to me, so ensuring all my "i's" are dotted and "t's" are crossed matters. This is what I would want for my braiding session.
So you are well taken care of, cant wait! to see you in my chair :)
Take care,
Jay :)
